Bōru Ramen Bar opened in Kansas City, Missouri’s historic Waldo neighborhood in Feb. 2017 at 500 W. 75th St. Bōru literally means “bowl” in Japanese. The restaurant’s menu is heavily influenced by Korean, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine, with an emphasis on ramen. Bōru Ramen bar is led by Culinary Director, Po Wang, alongside owners and long-time restauranteurs, Andy Lock and Domhnall Molloy. Lunch and dinner are served daily, Monday – Thursday until 10 p.m., Friday – Saturday until midnight, and on Sundays until 9 p.m. Happy hour is offered daily from 3 – 6 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling the restaurant at 816-795-1299.
