Frequently Asked Questions

1) What is Kansas City Restaurant Week?

Restaurant Week features an array of restaurant participants so that diners can visit old favorites and also try the many new restaurants that have opened recently in the Kansas City metro area. Specially priced lunch and dinner menus are offered for fixed prices.

To dine out during restaurant week, use our restaurant list and search function to find your favorites (do a quick search by restaurant name, menu type, cuisine and/or location), and then click on the OpenTable links to make your online restaurant reservations in advance. After that, just show up during Restaurant Week and enjoy your specially-priced ($15 or $33) multi-course meal!

An exhibition of Kansas City's finest culinary talents, Kansas City Restaurant Week will offer a variety of mouth-watering foods from top chefs across the metro area, demonstrating why the KC dining scene is among the nation's best--and up until now, one of the best-kept foodie secrets (the Zagat Survey has called Kansas City the No. 1 dining bargain of all the major cities it reviews).

2) When is Kansas City Restaurant Week?

Kansas City Restaurant Week 2019 begins with lunch service on Friday, January 11, 2019 and concludes with dinner service on Sunday, January 20, 2019. That's January 11-20, 2019.

3) What restaurants are participating in Kansas City Restaurant Week?

Restaurants from all over the Kansas City metropolitan area are expected to participate.
4) Are menus available online?

Lunch and dinner menus are available online and via the mobile app. Menu items are subject to change due to demand and availability of items.

5) Are there special days and hours for Restaurant Week?

Please confirm with each restaurant their hours and restrictions for both lunch and dinner promotions. KCRW promotion hours may differ from regular hours. We try our best to collect this information from the restaurants and publish it, but some restaurants do not sure this information with us ahead of the event.

6) Can I use coupons, gift certificates or redeem other promotions during Restaurant Week?

Coupons and special offers may not be accepted in conjunction with Restaurant Week offers. Please call ahead to ensure a great dining experience.

7) Why does it take so long for menus to get posted?

We understand that seeing the menus ahead of time is an integral part of the planning process. Due to seasonality and availability of ingredients, some restaurants may not be able to provide accurate menus until closer to the event. The KCRW website crew tries to input menus within 24 business hours of receipt from each restaurant; however, this can be delayed based on volume and holiday hours. If you have concerns about a specific restaurant, we encourage you to contact them directly.

8) I'm using a mobile device - is there app or a mobile site?

Yes! This website is designed to reformat to fit your device. If you experience any issues with the app, please contact us.
